Vegan Mac and Cheese

Let’s first get this out there: we are not vegan, nor is A Healthy Hint a vegan blog. But– we know that many of our readers have specific dietary needs and preferences, and we are VERY accommodating online pals. Mac and Cheese is not only a childhood staple, but it is a way of life. A light at the end of the culinary tunnel. A beautiful, comforting, delicious meal that never gets old. We wanted to create a spin on this recipe by giving it a vegan twist, and we were thrilled with the results! Can you guess what our key ingredient is?

Banana Bread

Well. This recipe has been a long time coming. While our favorite thing in the world is a fresh baked chocolate cookie, banana bread comes in as a very close second. We have both tested banana breads many, MANY times (not that we are complaining!) to ensure we created the perfect recipe to share with you on behalf on this homemade staple.

Life Changing Tahini Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

If you are even a little bit in the loop in the food blog community, there is a distinct possibility you have seen the Life Changing Tahini Cookie recipe from Kale Junkie. Guys, this recipe is UNREAL. The texture is so mind blowing and fluffy, and we truly praise her for creating such an incredible baked good. While they are honestly perfect as is, we have a huge weakness for good ol’ fashion peanut butter and wanted to make this recipe our own. We played around with it a bit and found a way to combine a recipe we love with an ingredient we love!
