Today’s recipe is essentially a scrumptious ode to our girl, Gaby Dalkin– the genius angel behind Whats Gaby Cooking. We got her cookbook a few months ago (and met her in person…. and freaked out over it). This recipe jumped out to us immediately, so we decided to give it a slight twist and make it our own. The recipe is only available in her cookbook, but you can find our version below! We made the balsamic onions she had in her book as a side as well, which offered the perfect flavor combination with the patty. Our version has more sun-dried tomatoes and spinach than her recipe, and we omitted the parmesan cheese. Stalk her online, ogle over her perfect food blog and then make this recipe. In that order.

- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon salt
