We also love protein bars— yes, we did dedicate an entire blog post to our favorites. When we got a few jars of nut butter from our friends at NuttZo, we knew what we had to do…

No Bake Protein Bars

No Bake Nutty Granola Bars

  • 1/2 cup NuttZo Peanut Pro Crunchy (or any other natural,
    unsweetened nut butter, crunchy or creamy)
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tablepoon coconut oil
  • 1 cup oats (gluten free)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/4 cup flaxseed meal
  • 2 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened shredded coconut
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips


  • In a medium saucepan, add NuttZo, honey, coconut oil and vanilla and place over low heat. Stir occasionally until mixture is smooth and creamy. Remove from heat and immediately stir in oats, flaxseed meal, chia seeds and oats. Fold in coconut and chocolate chips and stir until combined.
  • Line a loaf pan with parchment paper; pour granola bar mixture in pan and spread out evenly, then press down in the pan very firmly. 
  • Cover the bars, and place bars in the fridge for 30 minutes-1 hour or until mixture has hardened. Remove bars from pan and cut into granola bars. Store bars in the fridge.
