What’s Gaby Cooking Christmas Crack…Gluten Free Edition

Anyone who has spoken two words to us (or has watched any of our Insta stories) knows our love for Gaby Dalkin of What’s Gaby Cooking is real. She’s an avocado lover turned private chef turned Instagram influencer turned William Sonoma product developer and we could not love her more! We have a major girl crush and we are NOT ashamed! Christina went to the same high school as her so naturally she believes they would be best friends if they had the chance to get to know one another over a bottle of wine.

We met Gaby last year on her book tour and it was one of the better days of our lives.

We’ve made a million of Gaby’s recipes (yes, we’re being dramatic here) but there is one in particular that we make over and over again and that is her Christmas Crack. Oh my gosh, YOU GUYS, this stuff is literal crack! Now, neither of us have ever had experience with crack but we imagine the addiction for this salty and sweet snack is just as intense.

Gaby’s recipe isn’t gluten free so we put a spin on it without sacrificing any of the deliciousness! You guys will not regret making this recipe. TRUST US!

Christmas Crack Gluten Free Version

What’s Gaby Cooking Christmas Crack…Gluten Free Edition

The famous What’s Gaby Cooking Christmas Crack recipe…Gluten Free Edition!

Equipment

  • large mixing bowl

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Cheerios
  • 1 1/2 cups Rice Chex
  • 1 1/2 cups Corn Chex
  • 1 cup popcorn
  • 1/2 cup gluten free pretzel sticks (we like to break ours in half)
  • 1 cup M&M’s
  • 12 ounces white chocolate

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl mix together the Cheerios, Chex, popcorn, pretzels and M&M’s.
  • Meanwhile, melt white chocolate either over a double boiler or in the microwave (be careful not to burn the chocolate!).
  • Once the chocolate is smooth and fully melted, pour over the dry mix and combine with a wooden spoon. Make sure all the cereal is covered in chocolate.
  • Once the entire batch has been combined, lay it out to dry on a large sheet of parchment paper. Let dry for 1 hour until the chocolate is cooled and hard. Break it up into medium pieces and store in an airtight container in the fridge or freezer.
