Honey Sriracha Salmon

Honey Sriracha Salmon is officially one of our new go-to meal prep recipes. This recipe is a restaurant quality meal with the homemade feel. When we go out to eat, we almost always get salmon at a restaurant because it never gets old and is always delicious. That said, salmon is not a cheap food. This Honey Sriracha Salmon is a great option for anyone who wants restaurant quality salmon at a more affordable price.

We have a recipe for a Honey Baked Ham. We have a recipe for a Honey Mustard Chicken. So it is only right that we round out our amazing honey-based protein recipes with our Honey Sriracha Salmon! We love to order salmon at restaurants because we personally think that ordering chicken out is not very exciting since we make it at home so much ourselves. When we go out to eat, we like to always order a dish that is a little more unique, which makes the entire experience more enjoyable for us.

This recipe is a great week night meal during the summer, and we made ours with broccoli and a sweet potato hash. If you don’t own an air fryer, trust us when we say you need one. Living in Arizona means our kitchens are always so warm from running the oven. An air fryer means less time in the oven for your veggies and potatoes! We also love that it does not require a lot of oil, and is always so yummy.

If you are in Phoenix, Arizona, and want a salmon recommendation, we have you covered. Our personal favorite salmon dishes are the Grilled Salmon at Chelsea’s Kitchen. We also love the Kale Salmon Salad from Olive and Ivy! The salmon is prepared perfectly every single time at both spots!

Honey Sriracha Salmon

Servings 3

Ingredients

  • 1 lbs. salmon, cut into 3-4 fillets
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons sriracha
  • 1 tablespoon gluten free soy sauce (or sub coco or liquid aminos)
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, mix together honey, olive oil, soy sauce, sriracha, lime juice, garlic, salt and pepper.
  • In a shallow bowl, pour ⅔rds of the marinade over salmon filets and let sit for 15-30 minutes.
  • While salmon is marinating, preheat the oven to 400 degrees and prepare a baking sheet with aluminum foil or parchment paper.
  • Once marinated, place salmon in prepared pan and bake for 10 minutes. Brush over remaining ⅓ of marinade mixture on top of salmon. Turn the oven to broil and bake salmon for another 3-4 minutes (watch closely to make sure the salmon doesn't burn).
