Cranberry Salted Maple Granola

There is something oddly comforting about granola to us. It is so comforting that we will on occasion buy a Costco-sized bag of granola meant to feed a family of 6 for a few weeks time, and polish it off in 32 hours. Is that braggy? Maybe. But it does convey our appreciation for this sweet and salty snack. We wanted to share the granola love with you with our homemade alternative, the ever-satisfying Cranberry Salted Maple version!

Copycat Healthy Reeses Truffles

There is something you should know about us. We are completely, totally obsessed with treats. That makes it hard to be a healthy-ish food blogger, to be honest. Something else you should know: we are problem solvers. We are going to always find a way to get our dessert in. With that said, we present to you our go-to treat: Chocolate Peanut Butter Balls, or Copyat Healthy Reeses Truffles! YUM. These will take you no more than 10 minutes to make, and will be well worth it having some in your fridge when you get a sugar craving.

Anyone who has spoken two words to us (or has watched any of our Insta stories) knows our love for Gaby Dalkin of What’s Gaby Cooking is real. Healthy Pecan Pie Bars

Pecan pie is a fall staple, and pecans are one of our favorite nuts to bake with this time of year. Often times, we enjoy making bars because they are great for groups, especially on Friendsgiving and Thanksgiving. We wanted to create a bar that had a fall vibe while being easy to grab while we are conversing with family. Bars are also convenient, because while you cannot eat pecan pie while holding a glass of wine, you can absolutely enjoy a bar while you cradle a big glass of pinot. We got you. Nutty Paleo Granola

Want to know a secret? We rarely buy granola because we have zero self control. Zero. We start with a modest sprinkle for added crunch, then usually double that sprinkle, then generously triple it. Do we stop there? Nah. Then we have to pop a few pieces into our mouths to ‘taste test’, and are finally end up shoving it directly into our mouths by the fist-full like movie theater popcorn. No shame, guys. Suddenly, in a day or two, the entire Costco-sized bag intended for a family is gone and the sadness sits in because we are out of granola and it was supposed to last a week or two. A vicious cycle, as this happens every single time. Fair warning: this recipe is going to make you do the same, because it is so delicious.

Soft Frosted Pumpkin Cookies with Maple Glaze

Do you guys remember Chippers from Paradise Bakery? They were tiny cookies and truly the most amazing things. You could get 6 cookies for just over $2, and it always satisfied the sugar craving in the most delicious way. We are ALL about making our own ‘chippers’ with A Healthy Hint twist… Plus a whole lot of fall magic. And icing– can’t forget the icing.
