Gluten Free Samoa Bars

We hope social distancing has allowed you to try many new things, and you are able to create, relax, and get in some baking time as well. One thing we LOVE is cookies, any kind really. We are open minded women when it comes to desserts and will pretty much eat anything, but our love for cookies rises above all other desserts. We especially love Girl Scout cookies. Healthy Cookie Dough Bars

You may find yourself with a lot of extra time on your hands at home right now. It is a hard time to find the right words to say. We are so deeply saddened by everything going on, from the little things like event cancellations to the true tragedies- losing loved ones and poor health. We hope that you feel peace, comfort, and strength right now. In times of darkness, there is always light. Healthy Pecan Pie Bars

Pecan pie is a fall staple, and pecans are one of our favorite nuts to bake with this time of year. Often times, we enjoy making bars because they are great for groups, especially on Friendsgiving and Thanksgiving. We wanted to create a bar that had a fall vibe while being easy to grab while we are conversing with family. Bars are also convenient, because while you cannot eat pecan pie while holding a glass of wine, you can absolutely enjoy a bar while you cradle a big glass of pinot. We got you. Paleo Strawberry Rhubarb Galette

Maybe we should begin this post by diving into what rhubarb actually is before dishing out the recipe and healthy hints… This pretty little vegetable (although legally considered to be a fruit) is a dark pink stalk, often used in pies and coupled with berries. The stems of this veggie are the only part that is edible, as the leaves actually contain poisonous toxins! We are excited to give you some inspiration as to what to do with the stalks!
