Roasted Beet Hummus

Are we the only ones who associate beets with The Office every single time? Dwight K. Schrute was really onto something with the beet farm. Beets can brighten up a dish with a splash of color, and while Christina is not a big beet fan, I cannot get enough of them! The earthy flavor reminds us of summertime and we were pretty surprised at the seemingly limitless positive side effects that beets seem to offer.

Cinnamon Crumble Pumpkin Bread

PSLs, scarves, and the changing of leaves. We are internally screaming because FALL IS FINALLY HERE. Can we get a cyber “WOOO?!” As Phoenix residents, this time of year is slightly less joyous as our fall season consists of short shorts and 90-degree days. We can effectively save money, stock up on our favorite food items, and get everything we need in one sweep without running to the grocery store all the time. Brace yourself: here are our top 20 healthy picks! Continue reading

Almond Coconut Granola

We are notorious oat consumers. We put oats in EVERYTHING, from cookies to protein shakes to yogurt, and anything else we feel could use some extra texture. This means we think beyond breakfast with our oat passion, and bring them into lunches, dinner, snacks, and general food add-ons. We could go on and on about the multi purposes uses of oats, how they can be used in almost anything, and served warm, cold or dry but since no one has time for that, we will hit you with the basics.
